Key Job Duties and Responsibilities
**THIS POSITION WILL BE WORKING ON THE GESTALT DIAGNOSTICS TEAM DEVELOPING DIGITAL PATHWAY SOLUTIONS**

Summary: To design and maintain custom software applications for healthcare IT supporting digital pathology software deployment at hospital or independent laboratories, integrated delivery networks, and pathology groups to meet the specific goals of Gestalt Diagnostics and its clients.
General Description: Candidates for the Senior Business Analyst, Clinical Applications must be able to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced office environment in meeting project deadlines and be able to handle multiple priorities and timelines. Organization is essential in order to meet project deadlines. A sense of urgency, the ability to make good decisions, and the prioritization of tasks is necessary.

• Generates project plans for all assigned development projects.
• Informs Manager of all active project/tasks status (risks and completion).
• Participates and facilitates project design sessions.
• Works with clients to implement and utilize software solution
• Programs, tests and deploys software applications.
• Provides application training and documentation.
• Researches and analyzes new technologies as related to project needs.
• Assists in implementation and support of developed applications.
• Facilitates product release to support staff.
• Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications and Experience
• Education: Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent experience
• Experience: Six years of related experience including-
o Three to five years of application development desired
o Knowledgeable in C#, TSQL, UML, SOAP, Visual Studio. Net, , VB Script, Java Script, , XML,
o Strong understanding of database design and management
o Knowledge and general understanding of networking protocols and interface communication procedures
o Ability to set-up and troubleshoot computer hardware configurations
o Strong experience working with clients to implement a complex software solution
o Proven ability to design and document projects
o Experience with web application development using Microsoft technologies
• Certifications beneficial:
o Certified on DICOM (digital imaging and communications)
• In-depth knowledge, programming skill set and heads down coding role
• Ensemble and/or Mirth Connect interface engine
• SQL programming, testing and data modeling
• Profiling HL7 data
• HL7 / DICOM workflow testing
• Computer Skills: Experience with the following computer applications is highly desired: Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Visio, Publisher), , Epic, Cerner, Sunquest PowerPath and CoPath, Allscripts, Meditech, Agent.
